What is Operation Christmas Child?
Operation Christmas Child is a project of Samaritan’s Purse, an international relief organization. Their mission is to provide local partners around the world with shoeboxes. Each box packed full of quality toys, school supplies, and personal care items becomes a tangible expression of God's immense love for the child. For many, it is their first gift ever! Delivered by local churches, shoebox gifts provide an opportunity to present the Gospel to boys and girls in a clear, child-friendly way. To learn more about them and this project Click Here
Samaritan’s Purse Does this project every year with the help of churches around the globe! This year we are joining them in this project with the help of you. Operation Christmas Child sends boxes to churches who's mission is to then fill these boxes with gifts for a lucky boy or girl.
How can I help?
Simple, just pick up a shoe box and instructions in our church foyer, fill it with some of the suggested items, and bring it back to the foyer by November. If you have any questions, Contact Us
Where does my box go?
Boxes are sent all over the world to children who often have never received a gift. These children are then given the opportunity to receive Jesus Christ as they are invited to join the follow-up Evangelism and Discipleship program.
What if my crazy schedule doesn’t allow me to fill a box?
No worries. Just go online to Operation Christmas Child and follow their directions. They can fill a box for you!
